reason: Gives false information. It label the (then) newly occupied Palestinian West Bank as "Israel". Even today, no country, not even Israel or the US, say that those areas are part of Israel; they are Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories, Huldra (talk) 21:19, 24 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  •  Keep – for one, procedural keep given that the requester did not notify the creator (me). Secondly, this is not a forum for POV concerns, and images used across over a dozen wikis are not deleted due to POV concerns. Since the requester did not state what their preferred label would say, I am having trouble responding to this one, but in any case, that discussion should be held in another forum. In addition, it is not clear which part of the deletion policy the requester believes this fulfills: it does not violate copyright (my image, released under a free license), it is not useless (used in many wikis), and there are no privacy concerns. —Ynhockey (talk) 23:28, 27 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I followed the instructions given in the {{delete}} request; I didn't see any requirement for notifying the uploader.
Secondly: This is far, far worse that "useless": it actually gives the reader of Wikipedia a 100% false information: namely that the West Bank is a part of Israel. Again: no country, not even Israel claim that this area is part of Israel. It is as if Israel, in the time it occupied southern Lebanon should have maps with southern Lebanon labeled as "Israel". This is not a POV concern: again: NO country, or international body accept the West Bank as part of Israel. Are we to inform our readers, or are we going to give them 100% false information?
